CHain guide

Recommended Posts

I keep seeing these after market chain guide on the  bikes of my local shop and wondered what they are doing above stock.

I just install the Pro Taper 520 XRC Chain because I got it for 70 bucks, and didn't know if the stock guide was fine or is it just a "look at my new pointless part" kinda thing.

ALso when install the new chain I noticed the the master link was next to impossible to get back on and broke the one supplied and had to use my stock master link lock, but it seems a tad loose, meaning with my finger nail and can kinda move it a bit, not unlock it but it does have play I there.

Mind you this is an O ring chain should this be of any concern..... or am I good to go!
