TM slider/roller/guide worth it

Recommended Posts

I need to get a guide/lower roller/slide for my 06 crf250r. Acerbis/all balls puts me at 60ish while tm puts me at 130

Is TM worth the extra money?

Kinda hesitant to spend that much my my bike as old as it is but on the other hand I like to do things right and I know I won't be getting a new bike in the next couple years.

I have a hard time justifying that much for just a chain guide. There are so many more reasonably prices options... If you are concerned with aesthetics, look into the Turner chain guide. It is a nice mix between the cheap Polisport and more expensive TWM.

I think so.  I figure I wear out two in the same time I'd wear out a TM.  Some of the new TM designs incorporate replaceable wear plates.

The TM gear last a lot longer than any other slider out there. If you plan on keeping the bike for a 2+ years it would be worth it.

The TM slider won't get bent.  I had a stock metal chain guide get bent and the chain came apart.  Been using the TM ever since.
