06 kx450f water in cyl. HELP!

Recommended Posts

Can anybody help me out on this. I just picked up a 2006 kx450f. Started first kick and was cold. Valve clearances are fine. But, pull the spark plug out and when kicked over, a small amout of water shoots out. And did smoke white when it got hot. Any thoughts on a cracked head or a head gasket??

No, a leak down test is when you pump the combustion chamber with air up to a certain pressure and measure the leakage. Simple green or some other soapy solution on the outside of the cylinder bubbles where there is a leak too. Check out this thread for a bit of general info on the two tests.
