yz250f hard start after warmed up?

Recommended Posts

I have a 2012 yz250f that starts pretty good on the first crank of the day. After that short of killing myself kicking I have to turn gas off then lay over the bike to drain fuel. Then cranks right up usually. Top end just rebuilt, also new crank and carb cleaned.. bike runs great other than this really annoying issue.. have 290 Athena big bore, hot cams, and a few other aftermarket parts.. wishing I had an electric start since I battle starting my bike all day.. what could be the issue??

Check the height of your float bowl and make sure all of your vent hose lines are clear. You might also want to look into the jetting.
