XR628cc with standard carb. What's the jetting?

Recommended Posts

Hi. I've got a 1994 XR600 with a Wiseco 628cc kit in it. It still has the standard Carby on it does anyone know what way to go with the jetting? Or if it even needs changing. It's running a standard pipe. My apologises for not having the current jetting specs on hand I will get them. It starts fine but can be a bit slack on idle sometimes.

Cheers,

Ben

I think normals somewhere around the below..

155--158 main
65--68 pilot
Needle 4 from top

When I had the stock carb on my XR/XL bitsa I ran whats underneath..
168 main
68 Pilot
Needle 2 from top
bike runs a 100mm XL Piston and CRF250X Muffler.

That's sea level jetting.

Horri what's your air screw set at? We've put a crf450 pipe on and it doesn't want to idle. Thanks.
