Riding near Durango

My name is Jason and in looking at. Gonna be in Silverton for a week the 10-17th. Mostly riding up that way which ur welcome to do but thought I'd head down toward Durango for some single track one day mid week. I need a 'guide'. Any chance? Haven't been at this long but I can pick my way through some slightly technical stuff. Was looking at Hermosa Creek but wouldn't mind getting my feet wet on a 'D' class trail as well. Anyone?

I'll be around that weekend 15th-17th.  Hermosa is a relatively easy singletrack trail.  Jones Creek is also relatively easy riding.  If you want to ride Hermosa on the 15th or 16th pm me.

I would absolutely love to go but have to save those days for my girl that will be showing up. Gonna have to be near Durango between 12-14.

Unfortunately I can't do those days, cause I'll be at work.   There is some singletrack right near Silverton.  Look up Pole Creek Trail.  It's off of Stony Pass.  Stony Pass is real easy riding, and I would rather ride Pole Creek Trail than any of the singletrack around Durango.  You can loop Pole Creek up with West Lost Trail and come out just west of the Rio Grande Reservoir.  It's relatively easy riding, but there are a few semi technical sections.

I kinda figured mid week would make it tough. I'll check out those trails. Someone else mentioned them as well. If you end up coming that way let me know and maybe we can make something work.
