Is this repairable....

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I'm working on a 2002 Cr125 project and I noticed the new rear brake rotor I put on was causing the caliper to get pushed over at a specific point in the rotation. Upon removal I noticed that 1 of the 4 tabs that mounts the brake rotor to the hub is bent slightly inward causing the rotor to dip inward a couple millimeters at one spot. The hubs have been freshly powder coated and assembled with new bearings, seals, and collars... Would that brake mounting tab be able to get bent back without damaging the powder coating. At this point buying a new hub and having it re-coated and assembled with fresh bearings is almost out of the question, but if it needs to be done then it needs to be done. Any help is appreciated  :banghead:
