kx85 head bolt torque?

Recommended Posts

Hi, im going to replace my piston and rings with a new one, but im not sure about the head bolt torque? Is it important that i do it write or take it to a garage for them to do or can i just tighten it up tight? Also, i cant find the torque specs for my 05 kx85, any help would be really appreciated!

Thanks in advance

Proper torque is more important in this application than many others IMO.

A repair or service manual will be a very good investment before performing any maintenance.

For a answer to the proper torque, this question might get a better answer in the Bike Specific area of the forum. just fyi
