Gsxr750 or gsxr750r

Recommended Posts

So my insurance needs to know if the bike is a Gsxr750 or a gsxr750r. I thought they are the same thing. Any info on this?

They are the same thing to you and I. Tell them GSXR 750. "R" to an insurance company means racing which means $$$$$$$ to you when the bill comes. Especially if you 25 or younger.

OK what exactly is the difference in the race version I don't want a lose in power is it the same bhp??

You better tell your insurance you have the GSXR750R so you don't lose that extra power you have now. Better yet, insure it as a GSXR750RR for a power boost over what you have now.

Prove it!

This is the only article I found which is basically talking about the introduction of the first GSXR 750 which is NOT a GSXR 750R

Kawasaki is the only company that I know of that made a R version of the 750 class that was available to the general public for purchase.
