xr250 baja strip to chassis

Recommended Posts

While i am waiting for my cam chain to arrive, i thought i would disassemble the bike for engine paint and chassis maintenance and paint, i am trying my best to take a lot of pictures and number the electrical systems. so far i removed the sub frame up until the air box. i still have the carb and engine if hopefully someone could give me a hand lifting it up.

I put all the bolts in their places in the sub frame i will do the same in the frame. does anyone have any advice for me on how to organize the cables in order not to have too much trouble re assembling it?
Is there anything i should beware of when removing the engine from the frame?
I already have my right crank case and top cover off but i will not remove the left crank case because gaskets are REALLY hard to remove and took hours of work, should i have all the engine repainted or only the crank cases and cover up the rest?

One more thing. i noticed when i disassembled the engine the screw which holds the clutch bolt is a bit shot, tho it still works normally i wanted to ask if it was anything to worry about (dont mind my finger i was pointing at another thing)
