Seized wrist pin?

Recommended Posts

Looking at the bottom of the wrist pin.

Looking threw the pin hole

Ok so my friend has a 88 xr200r that was burning oil pretty good. We took it apart and found out he had a cracked piston. Here's the problem. We have taken BOTH clips out, theoretically the wrist pin should just pop right out NO. We have banged and pressed that thing sooooo hard!!! We even got a torch and heated up the top of the rod that the pin slides threw. We are guessing its seized to the rod. The piston and still move and slide on the pin but the pin don't come out.

Are we doing something wrong? Any ideas how to get it off?

And also the timing sprockets are bad so we took flywheel off and tried to pry the sprocket off and it will not budge. We tried heating it up it that didn't work either.

Any ideas that we should try?
