TXC-310R Tacho

Recommended Posts

Hi,

can anybody tell me what maximum revs are for a 2103 model? I love the sound of the exhaust when it really gets on song but would like to know when its enough.

Has anybody installed a digital tacho into the electrics as that is probably the only thing missing. More power or losing 10 kgs of my weight would be the only other thing.

Regards

Maybe able to answer my own questions:

1. MCN article talks about a 10,000 rpm ceiling for the 2012 model. 2013 different?

2. Trailtech does a unit that includes tacho. TE has tacho. l will probably search for something small and tacho only - has anybody already done this?

regards

I am a keeper of bikes and I hoping the 310 will deserve this attention.

Best thing with a taco it helps align the feel you have with revs with the actual numbers. Important because on dirt there is little time to be looking.

Looking for a small analog tacho with an adjustable shift light.

These rev so fast you won't be able to make use of a shift light.

I think in powered up form they are on the limiter at 12,500.

As Robertaccio says, ride it like a boss.....

Hi glangston,

where did you get the info on a 12,500 rev limit?

Regards

I have seen it in some tech article but I also have it from George Erl (Uptite Husqvarna) and as I'm riding down the road , one eye on the tach and the other on the road I have seen 11,800 for sure....mine is '12 TE 310.   If you go to Gear Commander and enter the 310 into the equation you will see 12,500 at the top rpm slot.   Put other engines in and they have different rev limits.

Also google "power curve of TE 310 Husqvarna.

There are some dyne printouts you can look at.   Even the red heads (pre X-Lite) were limited at 12,500.   George said they were case tested to 19,000.
