Atv Spark, no spark, spark

So Im working on my daughter's 49cc Chinese

four wheeler. It had been running fine but suddenly it won't start. Pulled the plug and checked spark. When i hit the start button, it fires once, then nothing while it cranks. If there was no spark at all i could probly figure it out, but this? Any ideas?

I would suggest a new coil, you can pick one up off amazon for 12$. have another bike? three wheeler? dirtbike? quad? borrow the coil and see what happens. New spark plug?

Chinese - all too often cheaper to replace than to find and replace all the parts that end up failing.
