Other handlebar bend for better handling?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone

Can someone tell me if I change my current handlebar (twinwall 997) for a twinwall 994 will I benefit from this change?

I am 184cm (6'08")

I am riding MX only. I have an higher seat + twinwall 997 + 10mm bar risers.

When I used only the twinwall 997 handlebar without bar risers I feeld really cramped when standing. I could not move on the bike and my back killed me when I rode in sand. I just had to sit more.Handlebar position is neutral. If I put the handlebars in forward position it feels weird and I get arm pump.

The problem is that I am slower at corners since I can't ley down the bike more.

The bike is an KXF 250 2013.

Help  :ride:

I have found bar position to be a personal preference thing, also different bends are preferred by different people.

I used to enjoy riding with KX high bend bars with a small raiser, now i run standard bars with no raiser and my corner is speed is a lot faster, core strength and more riding got rid of the back getting tired and sore.
