RM250 1982 - What even is this part?

Recommended Posts

This thing...it mounts to the top of the rear suspension and hits a rubber damper on the frame. Its some sort of pivot. Im doing a restore and need bearings, but cant even find this part on a schematic.

Anybody?

I had one of those in 82. You think grease a bike is a chore now, wow!

Haha... I grease the bearings on my KX regularly. That bike sees better care than my girlfriend. I picked up this RM for $100, I hear its pretty desirable, so im trying to do a full restore.

They had quite a motor. The forks were horrible and it didn't stop the 83 felt like a bloated pig after riding the 82. Please keep us up to date on the restoration. I also had an 84 CR250, that too was a nice bike.
