I've taken the leap!

Recommended Posts

Since 2008 I have been riding a CRF250 and just hoping Honda would make a 350F.  This past week an amazing deal came around that I just could not pass on and I got tired of waiting.  Needless to say I am the new owner of 2012 KTM 350 sx-f in pristine condition with lots of mods.  I am now looking for a skid plate for this bike as I will be using it for woods racing not moto as the original owner has.  I am torn between a couple plates at this point.  Just wondering if anybody has used these before.

I like the KTM one because it would come off quickly unlike the skid plates on my other bike however I am not sure how strong it will be.  I know the TM Designworks stuff is strong since they make the chain sliders and guards that are very strong as well but the plate is kind of ugly.  Lastly the E-Line which is expensive and seems to be strong based on some reviews but does not seem to cover the engine as well as the TM Designs plate.

We sell a ton of the Ktm powerparts ones but if you get one I would replace the 1/4 turn quick release with a bolt or drill a hole next to it for a zip tie . Branches can grab fastener & twist it causing skid plat to drop an get ripped off bike.

TM design is a nice piece as well but kind of a mother to install and take off. It's a very stout skid plate.

We sell a ton of the Enduro Engineering and the KTM hard parts ones but I personally run a Works Connection one and love it .
