KTM 200 EXC VS KDX 200

I'm not a very experienced rider, and I'm looking for more of a trail bike. I have a DRZ 250 but I've decided I think I like a 2-stroke a little better. My friend has a KDX 200 which I like a lot; however, I'm torn between the two. Which is a more reliable bike, also which is better for trails and such. I'm a pretty big guy, so I don't want to go any lower than a 200cc engine.

The KDX is the softer option , the KTM is more Refined

I'd probably opt for the kdx. Find one in your budget that looks well maintained. Ride it until you feel you need an upgrade and then sell it for what you paid for it.
