Want to swap newer forks onto my 01 cr250

I really want to switch to a newer style fork on my 01 and can't seem to find much info.

Main reasons are larger valve in the forks and I already have an oversize brake setup for the newer forks.

So will forks off a newer 02-07 cr fit or crf forks?

You'll want '04 or newer forks to get the larger base valve. The swap requires a different caliper bracket and perhaps wheel spacers.

The 03 got the 30mm base valve.

I put 06 450 forks on mine. You'll have to change the brake side spacer, axle, and caliper.

I already have them revalved but I really miss my oversize front brake and I have a setup that would fit the newer forks
