2008 450 sxf minimal skid plate options

I've got an 08 ktm450 sxf and im trying to find the best skid plate but it seems that for the 2008-2009 there is very limited options. Most of the nice ones go up to 07 then start at 12. Would the earlier ears or newer year fit my bike? Or would the 250 sxf fit or the 450 xcf etc? Anyone else experienced this problem?

Well I ended up getting a flatland skid plate. Not what I wanted but it will do the job:).. Tks guys

On my 2009 450XCF I run one of these, albeit very well ventilated courtesy of me spending a few hours marking and drilling it out.

I run the Moose Skid plate on my 08' 450 XCF, and it's held up very well through 9 1.5-2hr cross country races with plentiful rock smashes. It looks nearly identical the the Ricochet plate from the above link.

I opened up the square hole a little bigger to make it easier to to access the oil drain plug and drain the oil into a container instead of into the skid plate.

I also drilled out a hole so that I have easy access to the oil screen plug so that I never have to remove the plate.

The aluminum plate does echo back a lot of engine noise, so I rattle can rhino lined the inside, which helped to dampen the sound a bit, and I line the way it looks.

It's pretty sturdy, is easy to take on/off for changing oil, and doesn't rattle.  I found mine on e-bay though brand new for $100.
