What kind of transmission oil can I use in my 2000 kx250?

I would say 10w-40.

Maybe Kawi makes an oil for it, I dunno.

10w30 or 10w40. I run type "F" automatic transmission fluid in my son's kx-125. The clutch loves it ?

I use pro honda HP trans oil in my 99 kx 250 .

I also use the type f ATF. Works like a dream and gentle on the wallet.

I used atf in my 01. Not type f. Never had any issues with it. Had it over 10 years

Absolutely! I pay $5 per litre for it vs the $23/L that I pay for the 15w50 that I run in my KTM....

That's car motor oil, not wet clutch advisable. Just get a bottle of ATF and be done with it..

Motor oil is fine in a wet clutch system as long as it is not marked as energy conserving or says it has friction. Modifiers in it.

Read the owners manual and buy the oil of your choice that meets the spec

ATF Type F. Advanced auto parts brand is like $3 a bottle. I get 5 or 6 bottles before each season and usually I make it though.

Just buy it and be done with it.

Yeah, but you've got a whole bunch of bikes. And riders, at that. Its rare that I ride more than 4 or 5 times a month.

I've used atf type f and 10w 40 and 10w 30 they all work well. Just make sure not to use synthetic cause it can ruin your clutch
