dual sport helmet

i am getting to the stage of having to wear glasses.... looks like i will be changing to a dual sport helmet.......having had zero experience with these i am chasing some advice........do they let in dust? do they let in the wind? are they well padded? etc..........thx.

You will get tired of the shield on a "dual sport helmet" trust me. Just get some OTG (over the glasses) goggles and you'll be fine.

Plenty of companies make OTG (Over The Glasses) goggles. I don't like contacts, so I wear glasses, and these are the kinds of goggles I buy. Some "normal" goggles even fit over glasses, just depends on the goggle and your glasses. I've also found that trimming the foam where the glasses arms go makes a huge difference when using normal goggles. I have Scott OTG goggles that I wear normally, and a pair of Fly normal goggles with the foam cut on the sides. There's a lot of really cool options these days, not like it was 10 years ago.
