YZ stator in WR?

The stator is bad in my 98 WR400.
I've had zero luck in finding a used one and even a fair bit of difficulity in finding a new one.
I want to send it out for rewinding but need the bike to run in the meantime.
Used YZ stators are plentiful and I can live without lights for a while but will it fit and work with my Wr flywheel?
