Recommended Posts

Hey guys I just bought a brand new 2012 rmz 250. I'm coming from an 04 rm 250 and never had a brand new bike so I'm wondering what I should do for break in?

Grease linkage, steering stem, swingarm, and axles. Check air pressure. Set sag. Run quality fuel(non ethanol). Couple heat cycles then ride it like you normally would.

Ya I'll be greasing and checking everything before I ride this weekend. Any suggestions on where to get a service manual? I can't seem to find one on eBay.

Also what do y'all do for breaking in the motor? I've heard heat cycles and I also heard just jump on and ride it like normal but I'm not sure which is better for the motor

I found my service manual online. I just searched for "20XX RM-Z250 manual pdf" and was able to find one pretty quickly. I would send you mine, but it is for a 2008.

Haven't had any luck on google et for the manual
