im currently in the process of replacing my Linkage bearings, im using the method the Clymer book explains on how to do it, this is to have a long threaded bolt that fits between the bearings, a socket of a similar size to the bearing itself and then a socket the same size as the outer "housing" or hole in which the bearing slides out into to. also used a bunch of washers to keep it all flush. heres a picture (sorry for bad quality, was taken on a phone and couldnt find an online version of the book >.>)
