Can someone please give me the basics on the electric lighting for my bike. I thought I read somewhere that the bikes are delivered with the front and rear lights not wired up. My 2007 WR450 seems to have a chop block connecting the rear light which doesn't look like it came from the factory like that. When I test rode the bike (buying second hand) the lights weren't on, so I asked the guy to turn them on and he did. The problem is I didn't see how he did it and now don't know how to turn them off. I would like to have a rear working brake light, good front light with high and low beam and also possibly fit small indicators. The current lighting setup is standard. When I see the bikes in videos and pictures on here they seem to have a different rear light. I was therefore wondering if the bikes made in the same year but for different countries have different style of rear lights? Can anyone tell me the basics on changing the lighting above, how hard, how expensive and the various hardware options that are available for these bikes. I have done searches on here but I seem to go round in circles. I am not particularly good at electrics so would ask someone to help out. I am also in the UK so don't know what my options are over here vs the USA. If the whole thing is going to cost too much then I might not bother because it is unlikely that I'm going to need them much.
