at work so these are guestaments

90 hours

Racing and trail.

Broken rear brake lever, clutch cover and inner clutch cover. Crushed stock pipe.Several handle bar mounting bolts, handle bar mounts, ripped threads from top left tripple. Levers. Several grips. ORIGINAL BARS ,1 front fender, 3 rear fenders, one cracked subframe, broke rad shrouds, busted seat pan, cracked light housing, lost rear light, broken rads redone by mylars.

Maintenance: Front and rear tires, front pads, bearings and seals, rear rotor and pads, bearings and seals, chain, sprockets.

Trans oil every two races, air filter every 2 races or as needed. One float adjustment.

Bike runs and handles great. It takes a beating and just goes, it is an amazing piece of equipment. Never worry about the bike, just the operator.

Bad link? Thats for a water pump.

You're right, I misread water pump, however this kit helps as well in cases that you want to control more effectively engine temperature (in general).

That's the impeller of the water pump and a alloy flange which effectively increases the volume.

The impeller itself is bigger so the coolant circulation is increased.

This can be combined with the silicon hoses kit which cancels the thermostat and the return small pipe on the left radiator (which is vulnerable when crashing from the left side often leading to a permanent leak)

2011 520RS

399 hours

10010 miles

Oil-pump gears failed at ~300 hours (cold startup) & replaced.

They are considered a maintenance item now, so replace every 100 hours or so.

Both intake valves re-shimmed twice, so far.

Been busy with home improvement projects lately. Finally riding again tomorrow!  :ride:
