Best 2 stroke for trail riding

Recommended Posts

What's a better bike for trail riding, a 125 or 250 (2 stroke)?

I currently ride a '99 RM125 but sometimes I feel like it just doesn't want to go slow.

I'm wondering if a 250 will be more comfortable on the trail and for crusing at slower speeds.

I don't want a 4 stroke.

Any info?

250 will have a broader spread of power for sure.

It'll also have way more power, so if you provoke it in the wrong place, its gunna bite.

Just pick a color and ride. There will be a lot of people chiming in on this one. I had a CR250 for a while that was super fun for both situations. I currently run the yz250f but if I was going to go back to 2 stroke, it would be a yz250. Broader power everywhere as stateed above, but so much easier than a 125 once you get used to it. I started trails on a cr125 before moving up years back.
