trani oil drain hole is chipped

Recommended Posts

I'd 2nd the teflon tape for a temp fix but the threads look kinda bugged up too. How'd it get like that?

I think I tighten it to tight last time or I was off the threads and forced it or it was already cracked and it was the last straw, or all of the above.... I know stupid me..

Wow!, That looks like something that could happen to me. I'm not sure if this will work, but I would try a timesert and some JB weld to reinforce it. Good luck. Please let us know how you resolved it. I'm sure your not the first and won't be the last. I fixed my oil drain with this and it worked like a champ. http://www.timesert.com/
