Moving FMF tail pipe

Hey peps,

 

My tail pipe rups on my 150" tire when I hit bumps.... Is there any way I can push it furhter away?   See pics)... I put some rubber spacers on but not much movement...

Sounds like you need more preload in rear or a stiffer rear spring because it shouldn't rub even if you jump at least not every time and that much

How about a steel or aluminum spacer of the needed length to not make it rub? Sounds pretty simple to fix really. My FMF PC4, although newer than yours, does not rub with a 150 Pilot Power tire. 

 

The post above mine may be playing a part as well. If your suspension is moving that much that often, your rear shock may need some attention. Either more preload or a stiffer spring.

Should I adjust it higher now that I am primarily doing SM?  Does anyone know what my SAG should be?

I have a 6.0 spring on it.... So I don't think thats the problem....

My muffler is similar in size to yours , I have a large alloy spacer , which bolts to the subframe and holds the muffler out of the way . Also look at the mid mount , if you can space it in towards the shock a bit , it will kick out the muffler , greg
