Really...the LED headlight bulb I have for my DRZ has a fan that mounts on the back. Not installed it yet, but it's in a housing that screws onto the bulb and plugs into the ballast.

Depends on heat sink size, thermal connection to said heat sink, and alloy. Ive had 100w transistors on less heat sink. Baja designs light on copper board and 2-3 lbs ( unconfirmed weight) of aluminum with fins is Definitely ok, trail techs are most like to fail with something like a 1k or 10k hr lifespan compared to a typical 50k. Plus per dollar the trail techs are less useful light color, spread, intensity , and build quality compared to the.Baja designs squadron xl pro.

just duct tape some nice LED flashlights onto your helmet and BOOM instand helmet lighting! haha or grab some adhesive flashlight mounts

If you have not seen the Ridig Industries LED flash light, you should! I'll be using it on my bicycle when I ride and it's very bright! I might just use it on the helmet! Best $100 light I've ever seen!

Was out at king of the hammers last weekend and the light guys were there. Baja designs was super cool, asked if I could buy the square bezel to save an ounce, the.dude chuckled and gave me his card and said 12-15 bux. All the finishing cars ran bd lights.
