32:1 to 30:1

I mixed 2 and 1/2 gallons of gas with Amsoil Dominator oil.  I seen in the owners manual it was suppose to be mixed to 30:1.

 

How much gas would I have to add to the 2 and 1/2 gallons that is mixed to make it 30:1?

 

 

I;m just guessing it would be another half gallon.

There are 128 ounces in a gallon so approximately 4.3 ounces of oil will give you 30:1

I used one of those ratio rite cups. I looked on the Bottle of the oil I used and I used Approximatley 10oz of oil

IMO you could run the 32:1 gas just fine. I used to run 60:1, but recently decided to step it up to 40:1. Couldn't tell a difference either way.

2.5g or 320/30=10.66 so add 0.66 ounces of oil to the ten you already put in

 

3.0 g or 384/30=12.8 so add 2.8 ounces of oil to the ten you already put in

 

but in all reality if you're not a MX pro the bike will run great at 32:1.

Thanks!....That what I done.  now the fuel is at 30:1

 

I just hate to ride it tomorrow before I put the decals on it. Reckon the plastic will get scuffed to where the decals wont stick to it?

Sorry I thought you meant it was supposed to be 32:1 and you mixed it to 30:1 and thought you had to add gas. At that point it wouldn't matter much but the other way around i guess it would

Why are you stressing over this" There is no practical difference between 30:1 and 32:1. 16 oz.of oil to 4 gallons of gas and you're good to go.

Well, blame the parents that don't give a shit. Blame the reduction of educational dollars, because those are two big reasons the educational system is heading down the toilet.... Sorry, that is going waaaaay off topic, so I digress. Back to something not talked about in any amount.....premix ratios.....
