Cr125 air striker carb settings

Hey again. Ok I bought a air striker carb and it came with

Main-158

Pilot-45

Slide-7

Needle-n3wk

I'm pretty sure from what I've read on here I need a 5.5 or 5 slide. I don't know where to get one of those. I can get everything else I need but where do I buy a slide from? Also any recommendations for where to start with the rest?

Here's some info I have from user rtv.

 

 

As far as jetting goes, I would start out with a Honda 685/289 needle jet in the #4 clip position, with a 42 pilot and a 178 main jet. I also recommend that you purchase a #6 slide. The stock #7 slide that comes in the YZ carb, I feel is just a little to lean to be used in a cr125.

 Those setting that you have listed are  lean for a 250, let alone a cr125.

 

If you don't want to change the #7 slide out, a CCK needle #4 with a 52 pilot and a 182 main will work also, but may be a little lean for this time of year.  I do like the Honda needle with the #6 slide a little better though.

Opp's I didn't see your post rtv. What's a cck needle? Where would I get that at? A new slide is way more than a new needle. Lol

I like the Honda needle better, but the CCK needles works, and has no off idle hesitation like a lot of other needles when used with the #7 slide. The #6 slide would allow you to be  a little more flexable as far as needle selection  goes.

Do you think I should hook the tps up? If so, which wires should I splice into the old carb harness?
