Replacement Clutch Cable, recommendations?

Recommended Posts

I am going to replace my clutch cable soon. Not sure if it was ever replaced since I am the second owner. It just isn't fluid anymore.

Any recommendations? OEM? Motion Pro?

Are there any that are pre-lubed?

If not, what do you use to lube your clutch cable.

Thanks

Hmmm. Seems as if there's a mix of preference! Decisions decisions...

The stock replacement Motion Pro cable has no advantage over a new OEM one. Motion Pro has some non stock pieces and parts they may use upon request (and $) to build a custom cable..... no idea of that makes it better or just different.

I can say a cared for OEM cable will last a very long time.

Yeah I'd rather lean towards OEM unless there was an advantage with the Motion Pro. Thanks for your input. Looks like I'll be ordering an OEM in the next few weeks. Riding season is over here in PA so I'm not in a rush to change it.
