New Southern California Series! under 45 miles 10 Race Desert

Recommended Posts

District 37 AMA has created a new series for the Southern california desert!

10 races on 7 weekends total of 8 days of racing over the year.

These will be a short course held with existing events! Desert Scrambles are normally 2 loops.

For the California Scrambles riders are scored on the first loop! This way pitting is not required!

A desert tank is still recommended!

Does this schedule conflict with any other races. I'd look but I'm lazy

Specifically the GP's?

Like anything new, it has it's pluses and minuses. We NEED something to bring new racers back to the desert. This a good series for a newcomer to get their feet wet with. Maybe this new series will be that thing...

Listen kid. Not everyone has been racing there whole life. I have had the passion to ride since I was a youngster but never could cuz my parents couldn't afford it. God bless them.

Even when I could afford to ride, I decided to buy my kids bikes instead. They have been riding since they were 6. It only took with one but I'm glad it did. He's raced every year since. 15 now and as it turns out dad has been in the position to get a little seat time himself. I've heard you before diminish the other forms of racing like the gp's now this new scramble. Everyone starts somewhere. I'm glad at the age of 41 I have finally been able to fulfill my dream.
