ssr 125 clutch slipping

I have a ssr 125. I just rebuilt it and put a 17 tooth counter sprocket on and now it feels like the clutch is slipping. 

Using valvoline 10w40 4 stroke oil non synthetic

It May be putting more stress on the clutch. what size is your rear sprocket? If I were you I would get some heavy duty clutch fibers.

Do you have a 2 or 3 plate clutch in your bike? Many 125 pit bikes come with a 2 plate but a 3 plate isn't very expensive and is fairly quick to swap.

You should take off the clutch cover and find out. I dont know much about pit bikes but I know everything about my yamaha!
