2003 yz250f

I've recently found a 2003 yz250f for sale. I've never heard much of these bikes especially in the earlier years, so I would like to Get some opinions on them. I ride mostly trail and enduro, and like a reliable bike that won't leave me stranded in the middle of nowhere.

I'm 16, 5'8 and weigh 145 pounds. I still have a lot of growing to do so I'd like to make this bike to last me.

I don't wanna do crazy maintenance, although I know it's a race bike so I can't expect to not do anything with it, as long as it doesn't cost me a fortune.

I also know with these standards I should just get a trail bike, but I honestly like the power and handling of a race bike.

All replies are helpful, as well as recommendations for other bikes (I've also been looking at an xr250).

change the oil and filter, clean the air filter, keep the valves in spec and that bike will last you a long time trail riding it.

 

I had a 2004 for 5 years and a 2008 for 6 years.

Here's the link, it looks like it's in good condition, doesn't smoke or burn oil, everything works perfect on it and it's all stock.
