2015 tech 7 reviews

I was wondering if any of you guys wear these and how you like them.I have had older tech 7's and liked them other than the buckles were a pita.

Don't know if mine are 2015s or what year they are but they are new. Light weight. Easy buckles. Flex well. I swear they don't have as much protection as my Tech 6.

same here- I have a new pair and not sure if they are 15's. light weight,, good buckles and feel cushioned and comfy right from the get go. If I was a serious and much younger 250/450 racer that was aggressive I would opt for the best boots I can afford.

I opted for a cheap pair of oneals I ride 450s and a 250 I took a spill broke my foot in five places with the cheap boots my foot will never be the same again now I ride with gearne sd 12s. If I were wearing the gearnes I doubt I would have broke my foot. Six months later my foot is still messed up swollen blk blue I learned the hard way.

Hows the break in time? I normally opt for boots with a pivot hinge in the ankle (Gaerne, Sidi). Need a new pair and the 7s are reasonably priced.

Break in. .. what break in? ?? Lol. Hardly any time.

I think they will be fine for me I'm old and just play in pits and trails.I plan on doing A few mx races this year but I'm not worried about the boots for that mostly just good handguards and a chest protector for the roost! But I will report back once I try them out but it might be a while as I live in the mountains and have a stupid amount of snow right now.

lol I did end up getting them and the seem wicked nice.The new buckles are great and they are real comfortable!

These boots are awesome in my opinion. There was no break in time either.

Mine are nice, but the soles are already starting to chunk after 30 hours. I wish I had gotten another pair of Gaerne for the sole longevity. Everything else about the tech 7s I love. They are super comfortable.

Mine will be here tomorrow. Tried the 5's on today. They seemed comfy. So I hope the 7's feel as good.

I love my tech 7s, tried the 10s and wasn't to thrilled about the inner bootie. I have about 10 hours in em with little wear signs. Ended up upgrading my girlfriend to a pair as well as she struggled with the buckles on the tech 3s.
