The freestyle jump is still there but they let the farmer next door doze the track and plant it this spring. I didn't have time to up keep it and no one rode over there anymore. It had a good 15 year run.

What kind of gearing are you running with the dirt tires? That rear sprocket looks really small for some reason, but could just be the angle and my phone playing tricks on me.

Also what tire is that in the front? Rear looks like the Maxxis dirtcross, but that front almost looked like a trailwing in the dark photo

15/41, same as street. Front is some shitty Kenda dual sport tire that came on the wheels. Gearing wasn't that bad actually. I stayed in first a lot though since it was so tall. But the front end was floating all over the place, so I was steering with the rear, and couldn't really hit berms without it feeling like it was going to tuck in and chuck me. Rear is a Maxxis Desert Cross IT, love it, but have almost nothing to compare it to.

Both things are getting fixed soon. I never went to the dirt much because I didn't have a truck. Now I do, so I need a tire, sprockets, and longer chain. Still had a great time though.

Ahhh its that 15t up front that's throwing me off i think! Totally agree on that front tire too, looks like it wont clean out well and is going to turn into a racing slick once you hit some clay

Personally i run the Pirelli Scorpion XCMH and love it as a DS tire... but mostly run off road anyways.

The 15T making the 41 seem extra small? haha

I choose not to have a dual sport tire on front or rear, it's just what the wheels came with. I'll probably put on another Desert Cross or whatever is on sale and looks good.

hahah, i forget about the SM setups as im usually looking for gnarly woods type gearing.  For some reason it just looked really small, but guess thats the case compared to the 47t, 51t, and 54t i have laying in the garage.

Also figured you wanted a DS front for some reason and is why i mentioned the XCMH...  but if you care about DOT then it makes the selection much wider! Goooood luck man!

Rode a KX65, very very difficult when your knees always touch the bars.59be424f71698_2017-09-1619_50_48.thumb.jpg.c27cc9a8e043bf3984e7043ee786bea3.jpg59be4251ca470_2017-09-1619_50.26-1.thumb.jpg.a3396a6600f335da88f74c3e1986c0dc.jpg

I shouldn't preach because I don't wear gear everytime I ride, but jumping in low tops is a good way to break an ankle. I've seen it several times.
