Alaska is not the NW. It really should be its own country. Alaska has more culture in common with Yukon than Washington. Maybe we could sell it to Canada.

nope, they gots oils and close to china and russia, not selling, sorry.

I think we sell Alaska to Canada and then make Puerto Rico a state is a good move.

Yeah that's a pretty good cut off. Yreka and Weed aren't very California-ey. But we're not taking that coastal shithole so you're stuck with Eureka.

Actually it just doesn't rain enough on the CA side of the Siskiyous to be PNW.

It's a pretty small percentage of the PNW that actually has rain.  Most precipitation stops on the Cascade range.

Pffft, Eastside shitkickers weren't invited to this party.

Rode Clifty the other day. Had to work for it this year.

I did a snow ride up Clifty with @TigerTanker, @Dangerranger1973 and a guest visiting from California. Was a night ride, we went up Quartz Mtn. and on the way up hit snow, about 2-3" along Manashtash and then the Clifty ridge right there in your pic was pretty blown off. Pretty fun, riding at night with snow on the ground is a cool experience.  Got pretty cold up there at night in the wind though.

One of the few crappy pics from that night...
