Stanley area. You can kinda see Stanley Lake background.

I love Stanley in the winter, I’m going to have to get over there in the summer  thanks for posting this photo. You gotta love the Sawtooth’s

Lots of riding last weekend.

Sat. and Sunday AM Lower Chiwawa Trail and Alder Ridge. Sunday stopped at Blewett Pass and road Tronsen Meadow to Tronsen Ridge, Red Hill and just the run out of Devils Gulch.

Tronsen Ridge

This photo is looking back up Tronsen Ridge. The trail drops below that rock outcropping on the ridge to lookers right.

The trail on the ridge you can see wind up through the rock and across the side-hill is where I took the above photo, looking back at this spot, which is just up the ridge from the rock outcrop (you can see it in the trees right in the center of the pic).

From the road leading to the end of Alder Ridge/Mad Lake junction (Mad Lake not open yet :( too early)

Red Hill was my favorite by far. I was too gassed to ride back up Mission Ridge trail, it was 78 degrees when I left Blewett Pass.

I wanted to call it Tronson, but it's really Tronsen.

Hit up ye olde Capital Forest!
Found some new (to me) single track and a fun hill-climb :ride:

I recently hit all of that stuff too, thanks Chuck.

It isn't "hidden" but it's hard to find unless you are looking, and know where to look. That hill climb is a  hoot, and if you keep going up on the logging road to the top of Rock Candy Mtn, there is a firepit at the top. Look a little closer and you see the beginning of a very good downhill trail.

Side of helmet mount? GoPro?

Bingo! Mounted to the side of helmet in "portrait view" if you will. Then shot it in 1440p which frames the trail & the bike/bars quite nicely.
Tried a few different positions, but like that one as you can really see what the bike is doing.

Then used some nylon sting and tied the whole mount to the visor mounting bold as a safety.

Who's this Chuck you speak of? ?

On the way up the hill climb I couldn't help but think, could this be a Grunt Trail 2.0?! ?
Not much at the moment, but if it continues to be ridden (and the bottom doesn't get blocked off) the top 1/3rd of it will be a nightmare in no time!
