I learned that day that these bikes have a tip over switch. Here's the view from down below after we got the bike back on the trail:

And here's the first part of the video footage from our trip!

Going down Peaches is easy, going up is made difficult by a big root ball blocking the trail in the switchback section.

We did it Monday down, and lifted the bikes at that root.  That tree domino-ed several other trees down the slope.

Rode upper Mad river yesterday (Tuesday the 14th}. Went to Lost lake, Blue creek guard station and was going to go to

Two little lakes but the trail was closed at the Jct. The other year I was up there this early it was the same thing. Both ends of

the trail to Two little lakes were the last part to open as the snow really hangs in that basin.

So went off to Hunters trail and up to Cougar mtn. My only advise is to BRING A GALLON OF THE BEST BUG JUICE YOU HAVE!!!!!!!

Mad river is high and fast at both crossings. Missed that foot bath on the way in because the Lost Lk trail avoids it.

Ran across a guy that came up Alder so I am guessing the Two little lakes trail is the only one closed....

If any of ya'll feel nervous about crossing the water on mad river trail, I'm here to make you feel worse and let you know that I was with two 8-10 year olds who crossed it on their 65's LOL. with help of course. But I was amazed and stoked they were willing to give it a shot at all.
