Anyone looking for an instant motocross bike collection...

Badass!!!!!

:jawdrop:

That's a pretty freakin amazing collection. If a guy had the means to buy it and the patience to sell slowly he'd do very well.

$4500 a bike average?

Doesn't seem like that great of a deal to me

The yellow Maico with the sweeping pipe is making me all giddy.

Mixed emotions on this. I don't see any potential profit, but if I had that type of $ to piss away I'd be all over it.

I hear ya, but the time and effort it stakes to gather such a collection (not to mention their excellent condition) is where the value is. If you're in a position to lay out the cash and had the space, that would make a hell of a Mancave addition!

get to ride a new bike every day in the month

I wonder if they will trade for a 2001 yz125 with a fresh top end and new valves?

Message to Suzuki: please never, ever, ever do the yellow and blue thing again. Thank you.

Thats crazy money...!!

Wow. Lot of bikes from my youth. I actually have one of the bikes in that collection. The 87 Yamaha TT 350. I'd love to own a couple of those 80's 2 strokes. There was a couple 500 's in there I bet would be scary to ride You had to have balls like a gladiator to man handle those beasts. Cool to see those bikes in such nice condition.

I see a 1990 RM250 in the collection, still have my brothers that he purchased brand new.  Doubt he will get close to 200K for the collection, not enough rare vintage bikes but still a very nice collection.

thats awesome!!!!

Asking the world, $200,000!!  That's $6666.66 per bike.  Umm, hmm let me think NO!!!!!

Oh, i counted 44 in his list @ like 4500 per? Either way its OBO...do you usually start in the real world and say obo when u sell stuff?

Yea, that's like:

A. Forcibly telling the buyer to undercut your asking price.

B. Saying you have no idea what it's worth.

C. That you are clueless how to sell a bike.

Or my fav--

D. All of the above

Ill be shocked if he lands that cash. Would do much better as a per item auction instead. Great collection but its going to take the right person to land it as a whole. The Maico's, KTM's, & Husky would interest me....great era of bikes.
