clutch cover gasket don't match up. Cometic

So I just finished up putting my new clutch in, I go to put the cover back on and the Cometic gasket is so far off in size, I can only line up 2 holes at any given point. Anyone else have this problem with their gaskets? I double checked the past number (cometic) EC496032AFM. they say it's the right one

Must be for a different bike (different model year probably), maybe they have an error in their application guide. Give them a call.
