2013 KTM 450 SXF Clutch Issues!

Recommended Posts

I am having issues with my 2013 450 SXF hydraulic clutch. About 10 minutes into a moto the clutch feels like it begins to slip or not fully engage after disengaging the lever. Everything is OEM and only has 26 hours on it. I have back bled the hydro system using the recommended method and fluid. I also use the recommended motor oil. Do you guys have any advice for me?

Thanks, Will

That doesnt tell us a whole lot...   Like the lever fell off?  or the fluid drained out?

Does the lever feel like it has normal resistance ?

yeah the resistance feels normal and the only reason I thought it wasn't the plates is because it doesn't act up from the begin of the moto.

Does anyone know the clutch plate specs?

it sounds like the fluid is getting hot and partialy engauging...  if there was air in the line it wouldnt dis engauge...  lt says use brake fluid in there now instead of mineral oil...  try running high temp brake fluid...
