xr250r clutch cover?!

Try turning the lever about 180* from where it is in the picture, so it's pointing outward instead inward.

make sure you have all of the case cover bolts removed, then turn the clutch arm clockwise (up) from the position shown in your picture. the lever on the XR250 is a PUSH cam, versus the PULL cam on the XR400. It's very likely that the gasket has bonded to the aluminum very well over time.

Clutch cover finally off! Haha thanks for the help!
