1978 SR500 with Yoshi

So i got an SR500 from 78 and i wanna take off the old supertrapp exhaust because its got that weird disk set up where you take off a certain amount to make it run properly, yet i have probably done every different configuration i could along with changing jets, But today at a local motorycle i found in a used parts bin a yoshi slip on exhaust perfectly fine marked down to $65 since its used. I know this is a deal but i dont want it to &%$#@! up the jetting on the bike as is. Anyone got any opinions?

You should go to the SR 500 forum for jetting info . There is nothing wrong w that super trap . It is a proven item for the SR . If you can't tube it w the trapp you won't do a better job with anything else .
