dual sport kit from electrix

i dont seem to be able to keep battery charged for more than a week. put on a dual sport kit from electrix-dakar.

i wonder if there is a drain on the battery from the kit and how to check. i wonder if i need a bigger stator?

It's possible there's a parasitic drain on the battery.

Measure the current drain on the battery by installing

an amp meter between the battery and positive battery

cable. With the switch off, you shouldn't have any drain.

If you do, start trouble shooting your electrical system.
