Pourcel two-stroke / 350 rumor thread

Post all of your rumors about Pourcel riding a two-stroke / 350F here.

Rumor is, he will be riding a 350 two stroke.  BOOM!

yes, it is a highly modified OSSA 350.

due to the required high out put of this 2 stroke power plant, the power valve was replaced by a cam operated poppet style unit.

the specialized fuel injection was too sensitive for the pulse wave generated by a 2 stroke motor, so another poppet valve was employed to isolate the injector from the positive intake pulse.

all of these performance enhancements enabled the research and development engineer to decrease the frequency of the ignition pulse by 50% !, and this new design is so effective that oil is no longer required within the fuel system.

Ossa now need to perform field testing, but they don't want the current capitol investment lost from excessive use or abuse, so the rider selection was a critical strategic move, Ossa needed some one that is quick once in a while but is likely to get off early, thus allowing the R&D team to take measurements and collect data...

I heard a rumor that your chick would want him and he wouldn't even have to try.

I heard a rumor that you already had him

I only have a tattoo of his name on my chest.

I heard he was going to race again.... Like race a whole season... But I'm pretty sure that's just a rumor

He will ride the entire series, but will only compete in the first moto. He will sign autographs during the second moto.

I look forward to watching him compete.

That rocks dude

I got "Marty Tripes" on mine.

That's not exactly a rumor.  Google is your friend.  :p

So that explains how Pourcel has that tattoo on his chest, it must be "go ride two" in french or "s'il vous plaît aller trajet de deux" lol

Your chest look like the picture next to my name?

He could upset Rd ,he is fast enough

He could upset Rd ,he is fast enough

Agreed, IF he could keep that pace for 30 + 2 x 24 moto's

I hope he can get in the mix and make it more interesting.

Yes that's the big question but he must be aware thus maybe his last ever chance ,he would be crazy to not give it everything

Nothing against the guy....but if he HAS given it every thing, he would be crazier to try again and expect better results.

im kinda starting to feel this was about my boy Canard...

If he pulls off more than one more win ill be very surprised. Cp is so far off the current level of fitness the top guys are bringing to the gate that it is about impossible for him to win an overall. I wish for my entertainment that it wasn't true. But talents can only bring you so far, and he is one of the most talented. Hope im wrong!

      Hey guys,
I've used this forum as a "guest" for awhile now and I thought I'd share my build now that it's all coming together.  The primary purpose of this project is to help me train for roadracing my 2009 R1 at lower speeds as well as giving me a cheap alternative to racing the big bike.
Here's what she looked like when I picked it up from a local shop.  Paid $800 cash for the bike as you see it with 17' rims, FMF pipe, EBC 250mm front rotor and clip on handle bars.

      Fits PERFECT!

So I have a 2008 yz450f and I would like to add some LED lights to it to make it street legal. Mainly just a headlight and a tail light and turn signals if I need to (which where I live hand signals work).
So where I need help is getting power from the stator to a battery. Wiring from a battery to anything else I got and understand and don't need help with (but recommendations are welcome). So my questions are.
What type of power is coming from the stator. AC or DC? Will I need a regulator or rectifier? How do I wire something from the stator to charge a battery? What would that wiring look like? Would this stator http://www.rickystator.com/product/stators/yamaha/yamaha-yz450f-35-watt-lighting-stator-assembly-06-09 work? Anything else I should know? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

KTM has held a unique record in 250SX since 2011—it’s the only brand to have won in every season. Kawasaki did not win in '15, Honda did not win in '17 (and so far, it has not done so this season), Yamaha had no wins in '13, and Suzuki did not have any in '11 nor between 2014-'17, while Husqvarna did not get any wins between '11 and '15. This consistency also yielded KTM's 40th victory in the 125/250 supercross classes, thanks to Jordon Smith's first win in 2018 at last Saturday night's Daytona SX. The Austrian KTM got its first triumph in small-bore supercross back in 2001, with the South African Grant Langston. The most successful KTM winner is Marvin Musquin, who won 11 times. So far, KTM has collected 22 wins in the West Region, while Smith's win was KTM's 18th victory in the East Region. KTM also took its second Daytona victory; Musquin got the first one in '15.
