I used Pro Circuit HD springs in my FX. Meant for the YZF.

That's great but where did you buy them?

The economy type springs I found only came with a plate kit.

Are you positive the springs you purchased are for the 14+

Maybe on modded bikes but mine is stock and I haven't had any slippage issues. I've got about 40 hours on mine and clutch is great. I also don't use it much as its not needed.

I can't say it is slipping for sure.

It does have that sensation in the higher gears though.

Mine gets extra play at the lever with very little slipping even in 4th and 5th gears (high airflow, low temps). To what extent this means its slipping, I don't know exactly. This bike needs stiffer springs IMHO. The clutch pull is sol light that I don't think this would be a problem for lever feel.

Springs received and installed. Riding Sunday, I'll post the results on this thread later.

Clutch lever pull is more firm as expected.

Ride report..

These spring grab harder..

That is a good thing, I had to relearn my shift timeing

but there is no doubt the clutch isn't slipping.

While installing I pulled the hub and checked the plates..

Keep in mind I have been beating this clutch like a 125 and it HAS faded when really hot.

Wear on the steel plates was minimal at best, now I feel like a &%$#@!.
