Never been but have heard of Chadwick for many years. I'm a motel guy now.

Inspiration cabins are nice, ride in ride out. About a quarter of mile of pavement to trail.

I have a Mon-Fri work week unless I'm on vacation. Going to try to take the week of Memorial Day off, but it's still a ways out and nothing set in stone until sometime late in the week before.

Still never have seen if the bike will even start.. ?

A little cloudy in Springfield. But my weather app says 0% chance of rain down there. Loading up now, should be there by 10:45 at the latest.

Did just over 15 miles, one lowside... My calves are killing me right now!!
Need to get down there early, it starts to get noticably more crowded around noon.

Memorial Day weekend.. Weather will be nice, but I wouldn't suggest anyone to go to Chadwick during it. Place is a zoo on holiday weekends. BBQ, drink beer, spend time with the fam, prep the bike, go to the woods next weekend..?

I think I might have made that mistake once....never again.

I went out monday, early. My shirt was wet from humidity and sweat just loading the bike. Guzzled some water, packed some more. Rode for about an 1-1.5 hours and was out of it. Took a break to rehydrate and just packed up. Some of the worst humidity I have felt around these parts...

Who is riding this weekend??
Anyone interested in meeting for food and/or drinks at all, just to place the name to a face??

Edit:  North side of low water bridge.

Go down 71 to bridge and north side is open to swimming, was just there 3 weeks ago.
